Since founding Mama’s on 39 in 2011, Pete Truxaw’s responsibilities include concept development, site selection, design and construction, investor and financial relations, accounting control, and concept marketing, as well as operational development and support. Prior to developing Mama’s, Truxaw co-founded Salt Creek Grille™ Restaurants, developing five full-service dinner house locations in California and New Jersey. Before developing Salt Creek Grille, Truxaw served as a design consultant for a major restaurant design and installation firm. From 1994 to 1995, he served as Director of Operations for Urban Foods, Inc., of Newport Beach, California. From 1985 through 1993, Truxaw was Director of Development and Construction for Islands Restaurants, with responsibilities including project management, site selection, design, construction supervision, and facility maintenance. His career with Islands began as a General Manager and District Supervisor. Truxaw received his Bachelor of Science degree from Santa Clara University in 1985.
Robert Corrigan has been a General Partner and Operating Partner for Mama’s Comfort Food and Cocktails and Mama’s on 39 since 2013. Utilizing our highly experienced management team, Corrigan oversees operations for all locations. Corrigan’s responsibilities include management and control of all operations, concept development, accounting control, human resources, and day-to-day business management. Corrigan started his career working with TGI Fridays from 1995 to 2000. Corrigan was the General Manager and Food and Beverage Director from 2007 through 2012 for major golf courses in Orange County. From 2000 to 2004 he worked for Southern Wine and Spirits in the on-premise and chains departments. Robert resides in Orange County, CA with his wife and daughter.
